Guidelines:

1) For example, oatmeal cookies, smoothies, sliced fruits, apples, oranges, salad,     yogurt
2) Simple to make and inexpensive
3) Students should make snacks

DEAR DAY, December 5th

Dear Parents and Students,

We will have a DEAR DAY this Friday, December 5th.  Students should bring their favorite books to read.  Also, students may bring healthy snacks and drinks to keep them energized to read that day. Students may wish to bring ONE pillow and ONE small stuffy animal.  No sleeping bags this time.

I will spend time conferencing with students about some of their assignments and during first term.

We will still have a BMV quiz and PE in the morning.

Thank you,

Mr.Wu

Fort Langley Field Trip Thursday, November 13th

Hello Parents,

Hopefully you read this email before our field trip tomorrow.  Just a couple of reminders:

1.) As you already realize, we are having clear, sunny weather this week (and should be tomorrow as well); however, it is also cold.  Please have your child wear layers as we will be inside and outside throughout our 2 hour program.  I recommend long sleeves and a warm winter coat, as well as boots, a hat/toque, and mittens/gloves.

2.) Students (and parent chaperones) will have lunch provided for them, but not a morning snack.  We recommend packing a snack for the morning as there will be no food during our program (we will let them eat their snack at Fort Langley before we start our program).

Thank you to all of the parents who have volunteered to drive and chaperone.  Please meet us in our classrooms at the morning bell (8:45).  We hope to go over instructions and be ready in driving groups by 9:00.

If you have any questions before tomorrow, feel free to email me.

Sincerely,

David Wu
