Just a reminder that all parents who have volunteered to set up please arrive at 11:30 a.m.

The Lunch starts at noon and ends at 12:45 pm

Grade 5 new French DVD

Below is a letter that was sent home last week reminding students to purchase a new French DVD;

Dear Grade 5 parents 

Your son / daughter is started a new French play today.  Unless your child has an older sibling who already has the next DVD, histoires en action #2, you will need to purchase a copy at the office.  The DVDs are priced at $22 each.

If you have no younger children at the school who could use DVD #1 in the future, you can bring your child’s current DVD back to the office and, assuming it is still in good condition, the office will refund you a portion of the fee paid.

Grade 5 Heritage Lunch Friday, March 14th, 12-12:45 p.m. in the Library

Dear Parents and Students:

We are wrapping-up our Canadian Citizenship and Immigration unit with a Heritage Lunch,                 

this Friday, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. in the library.

Just a reminders that students with last name A-M should bring a main dish and students with the last name N-Z should bring an appetizer or dessert and drink.  Please attach a food label to your dish (labels were sent home yesterday). Please list ingredients and avoid using any nuts and seafood.

If you have signed up to help before to set-up, please meet in the library at 11:30.  If you have signed up to help with cleanup, please plan to stay from 12:45-1:15 p.m.

5W Heritage Posters March 3, 2014

Dear Grade 5 Students and Parents:

Student have been working very hard completing their Heritage Posters in class.  We will have a Immigration and Citizenship Quiz on Friday, March 7th.  So, there will NOT be a Spelling Test or Bible Memory Test this Friday.

Here are some samples of students' heritage posters that are already completed:
