The grades 4 and 5 students had a special event today! High teck and high touch science program "Meterology Madness" led our students to explore air, air pressure, humidity, and extreme weather conditions. Students were excited to learn more about weather and even build an anemometer! This workshop was part of our science unit, "Weather Adventure".
Here are what students have said about today's workshop:
"I liked making a nimbus cloud because it was funny to see how the clouds reacted to the 'storm starters'"--Keileen
"The moisture in the air makes you feel hotter or colder."--Joanne
"The experiments were exciting and memorable and I will remember it as a fun time." Ethan
"I learned that God can be so powerful, that he can shred housing using tornadoes."--Emily
