11 Veterans from Vancouver

Shorthouse (Vancouver Opera), and 11
of Vancouver’s finest musicians (from
jazz soloists to members of the Opera
and VSO); 4 Trumpets, Flugelhorn, Alto
Sax, 2 French Horns, 2 Trombones and
a Tuba will fill Falaise Park with calm,
beautiful music for 11 minutes.

11am - Outdoor performance in Falaise
Park’s southernmost section. The
musicians will be standing at 11 trees
that climb the hill. This part of the
park is flanked by paved roadways and
it totally accessible.
The performance lasts 12 minutes.
11:20am - Indoor reception in the gym
of Vancouver Christian School
( i m m e d i a t e l y a d j a c e n t t o t h e
performance), including coffee and
snacks and performances by students
of VCS and veteran’s entertainer (and
“Project Kid”) Linda Jones.
