January 9th to 13th Hopes for the Future

Happy New Year!  I hope you and your family had a blessed Christmas.  The Grade 5W students are just getting back into the normal classroom routines.  We will have a regular spelling test and Bible Memory quiz this Friday.  Please remember to check and sign your child's planner on a daily basis.

Students have been writing about their future goals and hopes by the time they graduate from grade 12.  All students have different gifts and abilities, but most are hoping to serve God and others through what they do in the future.  Below is one student's hopes for her future:

In the Future
by Emily
After I graduate from high school I hope I will be able to go to a Christian college. When I finish college I’m going to become a teacher and help others. I will teach others about our God. In the future I want to be involved in music. Dancing is the one thing I really want to do in the future. I would like to continue to be known as an artistic person. I hope I will play on the violin and learn to play the piano and the guitar. I desire that I can drive by time I graduate. When I’m 18 I wish my friends will be the same, but I do want to make new friends.

What I want to Accomplish
Before I graduate I want to get another Christian service award. I would love to pass intermediate strings and move to seniors. I will practice my French, so that I can speak French fluently. After I graduate I want to see the Eiffel Tower. I want to learn how to swim and skate better. These are my hopes and dreams for the future.
